The Larkspur & Lore Story
Larkspur & Lore began with a love of nature and a deep need to feel connected to my heart and well-being. I’ve always believed that art should tell our stories and be a place to express what builds us at our core—not just sit pretty on a shelf. That belief led me to create my studio from the ground up: a space where art, story, and nature all come together beautifully.
Every piece begins with a list of words in my sketchbook, capturing the meaning and essence of each collection. I’m inspired by the small everyday joys: the tiny buds on spring plants, a family sharing laughter at the park, or an inside joke with my husband (we have many between us now!). My work focuses on cute characters, radiant colors, and nature-based motifs, because capturing these sweet, precious moments is what matters most.
Whether it’s a beautiful new journal, art for your child, or an heirloom wedding suite, my goal is always the same: to help you reconnect with creativity, embrace beauty in the everyday, and tell your stories with intention and wonder.
Hello, I’m Erika.
I’ve always loved being in nature—the quiet moments when you step outside, let your guard down, and just take in the sky, the sounds, and the feeling of belonging to something bigger.
In the studio, I try to capture those same feelings on paper, in stories, and within my community. You’ll usually find me sketching or painting something floral or whimsical, or on a client call, live-drawing to capture the small moments that make up a love story.
My work focuses on cute characters, natural colors, nature-inspired motifs, and story-driven design. As an artist, my goal is always to help people reconnect with themselves and find grounding in the beauty of the natural world. What makes my approach different is my intentional, story-first process—every detail is designed with meaning.
Outside the studio, I love curling up with my dog, Loula, or hiking the ADKs with my husband, Josh. I hope my work brings a little beauty into your day, and I’d love for you to explore the studio and discover joy in the everyday, too.

My work is guided by intention and a natural flow of creative energy. I believe in creating with purpose—but also honoring creative rest when it’s needed. Every piece I make celebrates life’s sweetest moments through everyday art and meaningful design.
For Weddings: I craft visually stunning stationery suites that connect deeply to each couple’s love story, weaving in artful details, colorful artwork, and heartfelt storytelling.
For Everyday Art & Home Goods: I design pieces that celebrate life through sweet characters, special sayings, and joyful motifs—art made to live beside you on your desk or in your home.
Both halves of the studio are united by my signature story-first approach and my made-with-love promise.
